Scottish Highland Dance Pump Style -Iona is a competition pump. This style has three fingers and is whole cut from soft black leather upper with no front seam or loop. There is an extra eyelet at ankle for better support. The sole unit is soft and flexible with the choice of black or chrome suede. The insoles are fitted with the highest quality shock dispersion unit that absorbs 98% of the shock, helping to prevent injuries such as shin splints and tendinitis. This Ghillie is perfect for the expert dancer offering a superb point. The pumps come with a cotton shoe protector bag.

 

 

 

 

 

  • All our Highland Pumps are carefully handcrafted at our factory in Fife, Scotland. Since each pump is made to order, please allow some time for us to work our magic as we create yours.

 

  • We’re happy to adjust any of our pump styles to suit your needs. However, these custom changes will make them unique to you, so we won’t be able to accept them as returns.

 

  • We recommend going only one full size down with your competition pumps. Choosing a smaller size than this could put extra pressure on the stitching and may cause the seams to split.

We added an extra eyelet near the ankle to give better support and help the heel sit securely in the heel cup at the back of the pump. This design makes the fit more comfortable and keeps the pump in place while dancing.
